Product Overview
Engineered for large-scale onion production, our 20-row pneumatic drill redefines planting precision and operational efficiency.
At its core is advanced vacuum suction technology: a high-performance fan generates negative pressure to securely hold individual seeds against the metering plate, enabling flawless singulation and placement accuracy. This mechanism virtually eliminates skips and doubles, ensuring each seed is sown at the exact intended depth and spacing.
By covering 20 rows in a single pass, this drill significantly boosts daily output while drastically cutting down on seed waste. The result is a uniform, evenly spaced crop stand that not only optimizes light and nutrient uptake but also reduces the need for costly manual thinning, directly improving your bottom line.

Key Advantages
- 98% sowing accuracy
Our 20-row pneumatic onion seeder achieves 98% single-seed placement accuracy through advanced vacuum suction metering. Each seed is gently gripped and released at the precise target position, virtually eliminating misses and keeping re-seeding costs to a minimum.
But accuracy alone isn't enough for large-scale operations - that's why we've integrated the entire seedbed preparation into one pass. In a single forward trip, the machine rotary-tills the soil, shapes the ridge, lays drip tape, plants all 20 rows, provides real-time in-cab monitoring, and firms the soil over the seeds. This all-in-one system delivers 5 to 8 times the productivity of manual sowing, with every agronomic step perfectly synchronized.

-
Labour costs slashed by over 70% - this single machine does the work of eight to ten seasonal workers during the critical planting window, dramatically easing the perennial challenge of labour shortages in peak seasons.
Beyond manpower savings, it consolidates five separate field operations - rotary tilling, ridging, seeding, drip tape laying, and soil compaction - into one integrated implement. No more shuttling between different machines; one pass, one operator, five jobs done.
With a steady working speed of 3–5 km/h, the seeder covers 8 to 15 acres per day, delivering the consistent throughput that commercial-scale onion farming demands.
Product Details
- Parallelogram structure
Our seed drill units utilise a state-of-the-art parallelogram structure, the key feature of which is its excellent ground-following capability. During operation, the unit can adapt to the undulations of the ridges, ensuring a consistent sowing depth across any complex terrain, resulting in uniform, vigorous seedling emergence. This design effectively prevents the issue of inconsistent sowing depths caused by variations in terrain.

2.Removable soil collection plate
Equipped with a removable, enlarged and reinforced soil collection plate, the widened design of the plate enables the collection of soil from the bottom of the furrow, thereby improving the soil collection rate. Furthermore, this design effectively clears debris and clods from the furrow bottom during operation, resulting in a cleaner furrow bottom and a better-formed ridge. At the same time, the removable structure allows the plate to be detached during transport, thereby preventing damage from collisions whilst also reducing the space required for transport and lowering transport costs.
3.Ridging roller
The rotary extrusion ridge-forming process utilises high-speed rotation of the drum to create well-formed ridges that remain intact and do not collapse. The ridge-forming drum is made of 304 stainless steel, which offers excellent resistance to mud adhesion and rust. The integration of the ridge-former into the rotary tiller results in a more compact machine body, facilitating U-turns and manoeuvring.
Suitable Applications
Our machines are particularly suitable for:
Greenhouse growers:
We have developed a compact, self-propelled pneumatic seed drill specifically for greenhouse growers, designed to maximise space utilisation-where every inch of land is precious-and to manoeuvre with ease and agility.

Vegetable farms:
Large-scale vegetable cultivation can significantly improve planting speed and sowing efficiency. Our seeders not only deliver high sowing efficiency but also ensure uniform row and plant spacing, resulting in neat rows and consistent plant growth, leading to high yields and excellent quality.
Real-life photos showing the results
1.Real-life photos showing the seed-absorption effect
Seeds are picked up using a vacuum-based adsorption system, with each seed secured in its own dedicated suction port. The pneumatic seed dispenser utilises the principle of air pressure differential to ensure single-seed dispensing, resulting in an extremely low seed damage rate and guaranteeing, right from the outset, that every seed sown is intact and of high quality.

2.Actual photos of seedlings emerging
In fact, the biggest worry when growing vegetables is seedlings clustering together, as this requires a great deal of manual labour and time to thin out the excess seedlings.
Take a look at these real-life results-each seedling has its own space, with plenty of air and light and ample nutrients, so there's no need for manual thinning.

3.Actual photos of the finished product
Pneumatic seeding not only ensures uniform and robust seedlings, but also delivers high yields and excellent quality at harvest time.
Pneumatic precision seeding allows for precise and controllable row and plant spacing in vegetable crops, whilst ensuring a consistent seeding depth, thereby significantly improving germination rates.

Compared with Manual Sowing

| Seeding Accuracy | Low | Up to 98% |
| Labor Demand | High | Low |
| Daily Efficiency | Slow | 8–15 Acres |
| Seed Waste | High | Very Low |
| Emergence Uniformity | Uneven | Highly Uniform |
Excellent Planting Results
- Uniform Seed Emergence
At the heart of this seeder lies an advanced pneumatic suction system. A vacuum fan generates negative pressure to pick seeds onto the metering plate with pinpoint accuracy, achieving a placement error of less than 3 mm across all rows.
The suction force is fully adjustable via fan speed control, allowing precise regulation of the pressure within the seed metering chamber. This translates into two critical field benefits: minimized plant spacing variation and perfectly consistent sowing depth.
The result? Accelerated, uniform germination, a more even crop stand, and ultimately - higher yields at harvest.

- Higher Yield Potential
Uniform row spacing does more than just keep the field looking tidy - it fundamentally improves the growing environment.
With evenly spaced rows, light penetrates deeper into the crop canopy, maximizing photosynthetic efficiency and driving both high yields and superior vegetable quality. At the same time, the consistent gaps between rows promote unrestricted air circulation, which helps regulate field humidity and significantly reduces the risk of fungal diseases.
- Reduced Seed Waste
Following professional laboratory testing by our company, our seed drill achieves a sowing accuracy of up to 98 per cent, with an extremely low probability of double sowing or missed seeds, ensuring a high degree of precision with one seed per hole. Compared to traditional methods of manual broadcast or spot sowing, our seed drill reduces the need for manual labour whilst offering high precision and cutting seed usage by 30 per cent, thereby saving on seed costs.
